Not-so-Friday 365: Week 39

I have to admit once again, Moscow doesn't inspire me much, so taking photographs here is quit a challenge for me. The views are boring, and I don't have many cute little things at home to enjoy. I hope, I'll manage to look better for the hidden beauty all around - it a good thing to do. And for now - another renovation, which is a karma-word to me, many hours of heavy traffic and a small portion of quality time with friends - priceless!

Снова вынуждена признать - Москва не особо меня вдохновляет, поэтому фотографировать здесь - это для меня та еще задачка. Виды унылые, и у меня дома нет кучи милых мелочей, чтобы наслаждаться ими. Надеюсь, у меня получится лучше искать скрытую красоту во всем - это хорошее занятие. А пока - еще один ремонт (просто кармическое слово какое-то), много часов в пробках и немного чудесного времени с обществе друзей - бесценно!

Lite Kalabalik: from Istanbul with Love

Lite Kalabalik - is a small and cosy jewelry brand. Three beautiful girls stand behind it. Originally from Sweden, they find their inspiration in the city if Istanbul and transform it into some nice and tasteful pieces, that can make an ordinary outfit shine! I like the rings a lot and I also like, that one can choose almost any color, not just 2 or 3, the designer prefers (you know, how it comes - you like the thing, but you don't have any options). The brand is going forward, and I hope to see many more designs soon.



Lite Kalabalik - это милый маленький бренд украшений. За ним стоят три красивые девушки. Они родом из Швеции, но черпают вдохновение в Стамбуле и превращают его в милые и стильные вещицы, которые могут заставить расцвести даже самый обычный наряд! Мне очень нравятся кольца, и особенно мне нравится, что почти каждую вещь можно выбрать во множестве цветов, а не в 2-3, которые нравятся дизайнеру (знаете, как бывает, - вещь нравится, но подходящей опции нет). Марка развивается, и я надеюсь увидеть еше много новых дизайнов.

Patric Johansson is another Swedish interior and lifestyle photographer with a handful of well-known clients, such as everpresent IKEA. He, himself, says, he is more of curious then of photographer. It seems, it helps him a lot to actually be a good photographer.

Friday 365: Week 38

Last week in Spain, which ended in Moscow. There were so many things to do, but I couldn't get myself together and just relaxed most of the time.

Titanic Bridal Shoot by Evan Hunt

I'm not really into too long posts, but this project so caught me, I couldn't help myself posting a lot of it. This delicate wedding inspiration was brought to life thanks to the boundless imagination of one huge talent - Evan Hunt. Then, there was a great team behind the result, but the idea of giving some new life to the vintage shipwreck aesthetics first came to Evan to never leave without being put into life. Я стараюсь не делать слишком длинные подборки, но этот проект так впечатлил меня, что я не могла удержаться. Эта изысканная съемка на свадебную тему родилась благодаря безграничному воображению супер-талантливого фотографа по имени Evan Hunt. Конечно, за результатом стоит целая команда, но идея визуализации эстетики винтажного кораблекрушения впервые пришла Эвану и не покидала его, пока не получила физического воплощения. Friday 365: Weeks 34-37

Well, there were long 4 weeks, almost all spent in Morocco. This time I was not that engaged with the camera. My impressions are more then controversial and have almost nothing to do with the magazine editorials and manicured boutique collections. Morocco is much more then luxurious riads, delicate tile work and colorful souqs. It's also dirt, hustle, crazy traffic and dusty deserted areas. This medal certainly has it's reverse, and it takes time to accept the fact, that you are not in that country from the design books. I can't say, that I didn't enjoy the journey, but it was a complicated experience with lots of things to think about, when I'm home. So it you expect some colorful spice markets, tiles and treasures from the Ali-baba jewel-box, you might be disappointed. But you also might be able to catch the not so evident charm of the kingdom and enjoy it's African blend.

Что ж, это были долгие 4 недели, большую часть которых я провела в Марокко. На этот раз я не очень много снимала. Мои впечатления более чем противоречивы и не имеют почти ничего общего с журнальными съемками и прилизанным ассортиментом шоу-румов. Марокко - это намного больше, чем шикарные риады, изысканная плитка и пестрые базары. Это еще и грязь, суматоха, безумный траффик и пустынные, пыльные земли. У этой медали определенно есть обратная сторона, и требуется время, чтобы принять тот факт, что ты не в стране из дизайнерских альбомов. Не могу сказать, что путешествие мне не понравилось, но это был сложный опыт, который еще нужно будет осмыслить здесь, дома. Так что если вы ждете красочных рынков специй, плиточных узоров и сокровищ из шкатулки Али-бабы, вы можете быть разочарованы. Но также возможно, что вы уловите не столь очевидное очарование этого королевства и полюбите эту сложную африканскую смесь.

Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Wildflowers Photography

Everybody seemed to be just obsessed with the "crayon art"' lately, but the idea of turning it to an engagement session inspiration seems pretty unique to me. It was the Wildflowers Photography workshop theme, and there's also a romantic story behind the shoot, you can read it here.



В последнее время все немного помешались на идее crayon art (создание картин при помощи таящих мелков Crayon), но превратить ее в тему для помолвочной фотосессии... как по мне, это очень необычная мысль!
