Friday 365: Week 8

This was our last week in Spain for now, and we had a lot of things to do before we leave. It's really hard to think about not being here, so I tried to enjoy every moment left, though it could be hard sometimes as we were still in the middle of the renovations.

Friday 365: Week 7

All the week I was wondering if the pictures should be beautiful or true. The answer would be - both, but it's not always possible and not always right as my life is variable and not only rainbows and flowers. So this week as blue & green, paint & grass, fun & work.

Всю неделю я думала, должны ли фотографии быть красивыми или правдивыми. Можно было бы ответить, что и то, и другое, но это не всегда возможно и не совсем верно, потому что моя жизнь состоит не только из радуг и цветочков. Так что на этой неделе голубое и зеленое, краска и трава, работа и веселье.

When I found this blog I was like "Honestly... WTF?" I inspected all of the posts to the very beginning of the blog, and then I was like "I want more!". It's a huge doze of beauty, inspiration and really good style. Fashion, interiors, travel and all the perfect things which sooo fulfill our lives can be found at one place. Honestly.. WTF is the beloved child of two coolest girls Erica Chan Coffman and Lauren Kolodny who spend their nights out of day jobs sharing the very best with us, and I can only wish them luck and mutual understanding so that they will never be apart and never quit!

Friday 365: Week 6

The spell of fine weather has broken, the renovations have finally drove us crazy, but we don't give up! Never! We go to the beach and try to give ourselves some rest.

I'm obsessed with the idea of overcoming the constrains that seasons impose on weddings and other feasts as well. When I see that someone plays the Autumn up easily, I'm here to tell everyone! Joey Kennedy Photography and Hens & Chicks Events & Florals collaborated in order to show, how beautiful the Autumn decor can be, and I'm waiting for some space to use these ideas, as I have many of these flowers in my garden and in the suburbs.

Wednesday Blog Love: Krisatomic

I had some problems with uploading photos yesterday, so let's keep up the tradition of being late, which is unfortunately the essential part of me. Yesterday's Blog Love is Krisatomic - the blog of illustrator and photographer Kris Atomic (an alter ego necessitated by a 13 letter long surname that no-one can ever spell).

Sometime ago it was more about inspiration and her illustrations, but it gets more and more the blog of photographer, and I like these changes, though Kristina's taste is just perfect, and I like what she finds too but even more I like what she does.

She also has an Ukrainian background, and it's really interesting to stumble upon some retro photos of her family or some Russian sweets in her blog, knowing exactly what they are and where they come from, when most of readers don't.

As I'm all into photos, I post only some of her photography work, but her illustrations are also cool and recognizable and I'm quite sure, you've seen many of them here and there, so now you know, who's in charge.



Вчера у меня были проблемы с закачкой фотографий, так что я продолжаю следовать традиции с опозданиями, которые, к сожалению, являются моей серьезной привычкой. На этот раз в рубрике Blog Love Krisatomic - блог иллюстратора и фотографа Kris Atomic (псевдоним, который ей пришлось взять из-за труднопроизносимой фамилии из 13 букв).

Раньше блог Кристины был, в первую очередь, об иллюстрациях и о том, что ее вдохновляет, но в нем появляется все больше и больше фотографий, и мне нравятся эти перемены. Хотя у Кристины идеальный вкус и мне по душе все ее находки, но фотографии мне еще больше по душе.

Кроме того, у нее украинские корни, и мне очень нравится натыкаться на старые фото ее семьи или русские конфеты в ее блоге - я точно знаю и чувствую, что это такое и откуда это, в то время как большинство читателей - нет.

Поскольку я больше люблю фотографии, то и сюда я помещаю их, но иллюстрации Крис также очень классные и легко узнаваемые, уверена, вы не раз их видели и теперь будете знать, откуда они.

Думаю, устоять перед рекламой Faber Castell невозможно! Они могли бы долго рассказывать, как хороши их ручки Artist Pen, но решили вместо этого показать с помощью таланта Chan Hwee Chong.
